In order to protect environment and promote healthy diet, many companies provide vegetarian working meals for employees as their health is the precondition for the long-term development of a corporation.

 

In the spring of 2020, GMB established a vegetarian canteen for employees to safeguard their health. All food are strictly checked before offering to employees; every supply channel is also under strict supervision. To offer healthy and delicious meals, we especially sent our chefs to Yvhuazhai, a specialized vegetarian canteen, to study relative knowledge, including nutrition arrangement and vegetarian food cooking.

 

For a year with vegetarian diet, over half of the employees have lowered their consumption on animal food that improves their physical condition. For example, saturated fat has obviously decreased and protective nutrients has increased, which lowers the cholesterol level in blood and contributes to diabetic patients’ better control of blood glucose. In this case, while enjoying delicious working meals, employees also lead a more healthy lifestyle.
